There are many traditional cultures. I like Spring Festival best.
Legend has it that once upon a time there was a monster named nian who often went to the village to harm people and eat cows and sheep. So people want to get rid of it. But no matter what people do, they can't get rid of the year. In the end, a child accidentally lit a bamboo and made a crackling sound, and the year was scared away. People are happy. Later on, people set off firecrackers on this day in order to commemorate this happy day. Later, it gradually evolved into the "Spring Festival" festival.
I go back to my hometown every year. It's very busy every year. On the day before the New Year, it is also called New Year's eve. Every household is affixed with the Spring Festival couplets, labeled "fu". Some people have the ingenuity to put their own Windows in the window, like falling snow. Others hang lanterns on the front door.
That night, the sound of the cannon, like thunder, went on and on. Li hua red the whole sky, like beautiful flowers. 這種歡樂的氣氛一直持續(xù)到農(nóng)歷正月十五。
