It was my birthday yesterday.I didn't go to school.I stayed at home and prepared my birthday party.I got up at about 7 o’clock.I weared a new orange jacket and a pair of black jeans.I was putting some sweets and fruits on the table when my friends came at 10 o'clock.They gave me a lot of presents.Such as storybooks,a beautiful wallet and a pen.We were singing and dancing when my parents came,they bought me a big birthday cake.Then we ate birthday cake and watched TV.We all had a good time.My best friend Lily told me that my English was 100.What a big surprise!What a lucky day!

the Old Man and the Sea is one of Hemingway s most enduring works and may very well become one of the true classics of this generation. It played a GREat part in his winning the Pulizer Prize in 1953 and the 1954 Novel Prize for Literature and confirmed his power and presence in the literary world. Hemingway is also one of my favorite writers. Besides The Old Man And the Sea, I have read some of his other works, such as The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms and The Snow of Kilimanijaro. But The Old Man and the Sea is the one that left the deepest impression on me.
I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember it just as well as if I had read it yesterday.
Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

到了下午，媽媽送我去上英語(yǔ)。由于地址更改了，所以我們先到了原來(lái)的地方，幸好兩個(gè)地方很近，我才沒(méi)有遲到。到了那里我去上課，媽媽去交費(fèi)。在門(mén)口，我碰到了李捷，嚇了我一跳，我說(shuō)：“你來(lái)得真早！”李捷笑了一笑。我問(wèn)：“教室在哪里？”她說(shuō)：“往前走就是了”我向她道謝后，便大步向新教室走去。在我旁邊，有一個(gè)很胖、很高的人（對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)），我一直以為她是工作人員，沒(méi)想到她也走進(jìn)了教室，還坐下了，我想不通了，便問(wèn)懷宇軒，他波瀾不驚地跟我說(shuō)：“我也不知道，我只知道她是個(gè)學(xué)生�！蔽覐氐讜灹�。后來(lái)，在李捷與她聊天中，我知道了那個(gè)“胖胖”還是一中初一的！我愣住了。謝老師進(jìn)來(lái)了，一看，怎么就這么幾個(gè)人？不久就上課了，剛上沒(méi)多久，謝老師正領(lǐng)讀呢，盧斯赟一推門(mén)進(jìn)來(lái)了，把大家嚇了一大跳！

a week before earth day, posters were put up around our school, calling upon us to join in the actions for a greener earth.
our class came up with the idea to make better use of used materials. we brought to our classroom worn-out clothes, pieces of cardboard and empty plastic bottles and turned those into dolls, handbags, tissue boxes and small vases. that weekend, we went to a nearby neighborhood and gave them away to the people there. all were very happy with those unexpected gifts, especially little kids and elderly people. we did so well that we were invited to share our idea and experience with all the students of our school.
we are very proud of ourselves and believe we can do more for a better world.
