However, when Walker become the new president, he broken his words, Frank feel angry about it and he decide to gain power for himself. Frank begin to cooperate with Zoe Barnes, a young political reporter. Meanwhile, he also manipulates Peter Russo, a troubled congressman. With the help of Zoe and Peter, Frank let Senator Catherine Durant who replaced Michael Kern as the new candidate of the secretary of state.
