People will get a half a month off，it's longer than the Yuandan holiday. It falls on the first day of the lular year.During Spring Festival,people in China will get together, mop the windows to make them bright,sweep the ceil,the walls，the floor，decorate their home with Chinese knot and Fus on the first day of the lular year.The long period before this Spring Festival of 20xx and prepare and have a big feast together.
For the tradition,people will make a lot of dumplings, perpare some red envelopes, cook some traditional foods as well,for example, frieing tofus，eatting noodles to calculate good luck for the New Year.

Mike is one of my foreign friends. If he comes to our country, I shall take him to the Great Wall first. There exist three reasons for my decision.
To begin with, the Great Wall symbolizes China ancient history. The Wall built from the 5th century BC until the beginning of the 17th century, experiencing our countrys various dynasties.
Whats more, it embodies our primary principle: teamwork is everything. Obviously, it was rather difficult to build such a wall in the ancient days without any modern machines, because all the work had to be done only by hand. But millions of China people came together and made it a reality.
Finally, the Great Wall expresses our determination to resist invasion. The Wall was originally a project of Qin dynasty designed to keep out the invaders. Although millions of people died for building the Wall, China people defended our own sovereignty.

However, those who are opposed to banning fireworks think it the Chinese tradition to set off fireworks. It is a way of adding to atmosphere of happiness. Besides, fireworks are not set off every day, so it is absolutely not the major source of environmental problem.
Personally speaking, I think it a good idea to ban fireworks for the sake of safety. Anyway, we have many other ways of celebrating the New Year such as having parties. Above all, forbidding fireworks may well let citizens have a peaceful New Year’s Eve.

只見一個女孩大大方方地走上舞臺，開始自我介紹。隨后流利地講起了準備的英語故事。她講得眉飛色舞，繪聲繪色。評委老師聽得如癡如醉，仿佛自己也進入了她的故事。這無疑是給了我們后面的選手來了個下馬威。我緊張的'心情如起伏的波浪，一下子又一下地拍打著滿載信心和希望的小船，我的心都快蹦出來了。這時，一個熟悉的聲音在我耳邊回蕩：“不要氣妥，不要緊張，主要你努力了，成功一定會緊緊地拉住你的手。”我的心漸漸平靜下來，但還是會有抑制不住的緊張。
輪到我上場了，我懷著忐忑不安地走上了舞臺。我先深深地吸了一口氣，開始做起了自我介紹，但可以清晰的聽出，我的聲音有點微微的顫抖。講著講著，我仿佛看見了優(yōu)質(zhì)駱駝在沙漠上行走，在綠洲里吃草。接二連三的畫面出現(xiàn)在了我的眼前。我的心平靜了下來，聲音不再顫抖，人也變得大方起來了，還加上了動作和感情。當我講完了最后一句話，又說了結(jié)束語之后，我不禁長長地吁了一口氣。當我往臺下看時，評委老師向我投來了贊許的目光，嘴上露出了甜甜的微笑。
