　　隨著四級考試的臨近，向來深為廣大學員所頭疼的作文問題再次浮出水面。在四級考試中，如果學生作文得零分，那么即使前面得了滿分（即85分），其總成績?nèi)詫⒁暈椴患案�。因此寫好一篇文章對參加四級考試的學生來說可謂至關(guān)重要，不容輕視。

　　縱觀歷年來的考題，我們不難發(fā)現(xiàn)議論文占據(jù)著七成以上的比例，因此首先我們要掌握議論文的寫作要領。按照提綱進行構(gòu)思，務必做到寫好每段的主題句和擴展句。主題句是表達段落主題的句子，它闡明一個段落的中心思想，是段落的核心，段落中的其他各句都與它緊密相連并圍繞它展開。擴展句就是解釋或者說明段落中心思想的句子。寫擴展句時要注意條理性，比如引出三條不同的理由可以分別用：Firstofall,furthermore,thelastbutnottheleast。

　　明確段落的寫作思路之后，讓我們具體來看句子的寫作�？荚噷嵺`表明，多數(shù)考生在寫作上的主要欠缺不是系統(tǒng)的寫作理論和方法，而是最基本的單句寫作能力。有些同學因為對自身的實力缺乏自信所以考場上采取抄襲閱讀文章里的句子這種方法來湊字數(shù)。這種做法實不足取，因為一方面容易被改卷老師發(fā)現(xiàn)而認為該考生有偷懶的嫌疑，另一方面考生從閱讀文章里抄來的優(yōu)美句子和考生自己寫的錯誤百出的句子拼湊在一起令文章整體有不和諧之感，從而令改卷老師懷疑該考生有作弊的嫌疑。通過句子寫作這一關(guān)，可參考如下步驟：

　　1.確保句子的正確性，即準確表達思想而且沒有語法錯誤。以＂Therebe＂句型為例，錯誤的句子：Therearemanypeopleliketogotothemovies.正確表達：Therearemanypeoplewholiketogotothemovies.考生最容易犯的錯誤是在therebe之后又用了一個動詞作謂語，使句子結(jié)構(gòu)出現(xiàn)嚴重錯誤。除了要小心避免語法錯誤外，我們也不能忽視作文中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)的'嚴重漢化的英語，即中式英語，比如："Manisiron,andfoodissteel.",＂Womenarehalfsidesky.＂。如何克服漢化思維關(guān)鍵在于動筆前先思考一下類似的英文句式，并且注意諺語的翻譯不能隨心所欲，盡量找到規(guī)范的翻譯方式。

　　2.注意句式的多樣性，語言生動且富于變換才能最終打動評卷老師從而獲得高分。不能從頭到尾都是Iam…,heis…,Ilike…,這樣的簡單句。

　　1）適當運用同位語，Environmentalpollution,aphenomenonwhichlastedanumberofyears,hasgrownmoreandmoreserious.推薦用于開頭對核心名詞做出解釋。

　　2）倒裝，Onlyinthiswaycanwesolvetheproblem.建議最好使用在文章結(jié)尾處更顯得擲地有聲。

　　3）無靈主語，即沒有生命的東西充當主語。當我們要講述一個經(jīng)驗性的事實或者常理時，不要過多使用“Ithinkthat”議論文中過多使用“I”容易影響文章的客觀性。使用無靈主語就可以解決這個問題Pastexperiencehastaughtusthatweshouldnotdependonothersforeverything.(Pastexperience就是無靈主語)

　　4）排比，可以增強語言表達的力度和整個文章的氣勢。例如在95年1月的考題“Canmoneybuyhappiness”中運用排比就可以收到比較理想的效果。Manypeopledieformoney,lieformoney,fightformoney,andevenselltheirsoulstotheDevilformoney.

　　以上是講述寫好句子的方法，但因為考場上時間比較緊迫，所以建議考生務必在考前背誦一些常用的理由句以防在考場上臨時思路受阻而束手無策。如Itcanenrichourknowledgeandwidenourhorizon.或者Itcanincreasethegovernmentrevenueandrelievethepressureofunemployment.等等。

　　This line chart shows the different crime rates that occur in different seasons. We can see that there is a surprising link between changes in the seasons and patterns of different crimes such as murder and robbery.

　　As shown in the chart, the crime rate for murder varies greatly throughout the whole year. It starts to grow steadily from about 15 in January and reaches a high of about 70, 77, and 66 in July, August, and September, with August as its highest point. Then it begins to decrease sharply to a Iow of about 15 in December. This means that there are more crimes of bodily harm in the summer months than in the rest of the months of the year, which may be attributed to the hot and humid weather. In this kind of weather, people can easily get irritated and angry. Robbery, on the other hand, has a different cycle. It varies very little in the year and begins to decrease slowly from its peak of about 55 in January and reaches its lowest of about 30 in the summer months of July, August and September. Then it starts to go up from October and reaches its peak of about 55 again in December. So we are likely to be robbed in the winter months, which can be explained by the fact that it gets dark earlier and the nights are longer. During this time of the year, robbers have longer time to commit crimes at night.

In some countries, they can’t even show their face to others. A traditional female role is to stay at home, taking care of children and do all of the housework. But now, lots of women have a good job, so that they totally have the ability to be the economic backbone. Therefore, in order to take good care of family, men are likely to stay at home to do housework. I don’t think it’s a shame for men, because no matter what you do, as long as you do it well, you are successful.

　　第二，只要女性能比男性掙得更多，讓她們來支撐家庭也是可以的。在過去，女性一直被惡劣對待，他們也沒有受教育，工作的權(quán)利。在一些國家，她們甚至不能給別人看她們的臉。傳統(tǒng)的女性角色是呆在家里，照顧孩子，做所有的家務。但是現(xiàn)在，許多女性都有一份好的工作，他們完全有能力成為家里的經(jīng)濟支柱。因此，為了照顧家庭，男性更有可能呆在家里做家務。我不認為這是男人的恥辱，因為無論你做什么，只要你做得好，你就是成功的。
