沒(méi)想到，暑假我竟然當(dāng)上了英語(yǔ)小老師；更沒(méi)想到，學(xué)生竟然是我的爺爺。
“孫女，我想學(xué)英語(yǔ)，你教教我好嗎？”暑假的`第二天，爺爺就鄭重其事地對(duì)我說(shuō)。“您學(xué)英語(yǔ)干嗎，爺爺？”我不解地望著爺爺。爺爺63歲了，都退休很多年了�！霸趺�，嫌爺爺老了嗎，我學(xué)學(xué)英語(yǔ)，有機(jī)會(huì)出國(guó)旅游，住宿、吃飯、乘車也好和外國(guó)佬交流啊�！笨粗鵂敔斈枪烧J(rèn)真勁，我不得不接受了這個(gè)“學(xué)生”。
第一天，我教爺爺Good morning(早上好)，Good afterroon(下午好)，good night(晚安)，thanks(謝謝)等英語(yǔ)單詞，開(kāi)始，爺爺總是讀不準(zhǔn)音，特別是晚安，我一連教了三遍，爺爺都沒(méi)有學(xué)會(huì)，氣得我忍不住脫口罵了句：“您怎么這樣笨啊�！睜敔斠膊缓靡馑嫉卮瓜骂^，像孩子似的羞紅了臉。后來(lái)，我急中生智，在每一個(gè)英語(yǔ)單詞旁邊，用中文注上怎么讀音，比如good night旁寫(xiě)上戈納特。果然，這個(gè)辦法好，爺爺讀得準(zhǔn)確了。

There are two main reasons for this phenomenon. To begin with, university and college students are faced with the pressure of finding a job after graduation. More certificates will doubtlessly impress the employers, so the students are compelled to run from one exam to another. Besides, more and more universities and colleges modify their education training which includes several creative credits. If students fail to get such credits, they can not graduate. As a result, most students choose to pursue certificates.

As far as I am concerned, the students should have a more rational attitude toward certificate, because such certificates do not necessarily represent one’s ability. For me, inner ability speaks louder than certificates, which can only be compared to appearance. Opportunities only arise when you are excellent enough in your field.
