先說水資源。我國水資源總量為2．8萬億立平方米左右，居世界第六位，人均占水量為2100多立方米，只占世界人均水平的四分之一，屬于缺水國家，全國600多座城市中就有400多座缺水。特別是西部地區(qū)缺水非常嚴重，一些山區(qū)地方連人、畜飲水都非常困難。

The per capita water volume is more than 2100 cubic meters, accounting for only a quarter of the world's per capita level. China is a water deficient country, and there are more than 400 water deficient cities in more than 600 cities. 我國的用水面臨著嚴峻的問題，所以我們要珍惜水資源，節(jié)約用水。比如：用完水后，要擰緊水龍頭，以免造成“一江清水向東流”的浪費現(xiàn)象，如果發(fā)現(xiàn)水龍頭壞了，要及時修理，避免損失大量的水，大家也別小看廢棄的電池，因為一粒紐扣電池會污染600噸的水，如果你把它扔到水里，水將無法飲用。我們應該把電池收集起來，送往回收站，這樣既可以避免污染水源，又使電池得到回收，一舉兩得。大家不能只是口頭說說而已，要行動起來呀！

不僅僅要節(jié)約用水，還要節(jié)省森林資源。我國森林資源總量不足，森林覆蓋率只有18．21%，相當于世界森林平均覆蓋率的61．52%；全國人均森林面積和人均森林蓄積分別不到世界人均水平的四分之一和六分之一。森林質量不高，平均每公頃蓄積量只有84．73立方米，相當于世界平均水平的84．86%。這就是森林資源向我們發(fā)出的警報！
Save not only water, but also forest resources.
